Sachin Tendulkar, who revealed last week that he had tested positive for the coronavirus, tweeted on Friday, saying he had been hospitalized “as an abundant precaution on medical advice”. The great cricketer has said he hopes to be home “in a few days”. “Thank you for your wishes and prayers. As an abundant precaution under medical advice, I was hospitalized. I hope to be back home in a few days. Be careful and stay safe everyone,” Sachin Tendulkar wrote. on Twitter. The legendary drummer also wished his teammates and “all Indians” the 10th anniversary of India’s 2011 World Cup triumph.
On March 27, Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter and revealed that he had tested positive for the coronavirus. He said he was tested after showing “mild symptoms” and quarantined at home.
He also said everyone else in his home tested negative.
Sachin had recently participated in the Road Safety World Series T20 tournament where he was captain of the India Legends team.
Three other members of the India Legends team – Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan and Subramaniam Badrinath – have also tested positive for the coronavirus.
