On the occasion of the release of a book, Bhagwat said, ‘Glorious unbroken India is needed for the welfare of the world. Therefore, patriotism needs to be aroused. The India that was made small needs to be reunited. All parts separated from India, which do not now describe themselves as part of India, need it more.
‘This fool’s dream of partition’
Bhagwat further said, ‘Before the partition of the country some people had raised serious doubts about whether it could be divided or not, but it happened. If you had asked someone 6 months before the partition of this country, no one could have guessed it. People had asked Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru that a new thing about making Pakistan was coming out. In response, he said what is it? This partition is a fool’s dream.
There is no denying the possibility of a united India
The RSS chief said that during British rule, Lord Wavell also said in Britain’s Parliament that India was made by God. Who can divide it. But eventually it happened. What seemed impossible, happened. Therefore, the possibility of a united India, which seems impossible now, cannot be ruled out, because it is needed.
It is not a matter of ‘pressing’ but of ‘adding’
Those who no longer call themselves part of India, it is more important to re-connect with India for the areas separated from it. These countries did everything they could, but found no solution. The only solution to this is to reconnect with India. And this will solve all their problems. We are talking about not suppressing them, adding them. Bhagwat says that when we talk of a united India, our intention is not to achieve this on the strength of strength, but to connect them through Sanatan Dharma. Sanatan Dharma is the religion of humanity and the whole world and today it is called Hinduism.
Happiness and peace will be achieved again
He said, ‘Gandhar became Afghanistan. Is there peace since? Pakistan was formed, is there peace since then? Bhagwat said that India has the ability to deal with many challenges and the world looks at it to overcome difficulties. Through Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, the world can again achieve prosperity and peace.
