The Realme Q3 series of smartphones will soon be launched in China. The company took to Weibo to also reveal that the Realme Q2 series has reached 1 million sales since its launch in October last year. The Chinese tech giant, however, hasn’t revealed much about the Realme Q3 series, but a report has listed alleged specs for the Realme Q3 vanilla. According to a report, the handset could be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC, and is expected to cost less than CNY 2,000 (around Rs 23,000).
According to a Realme article on Weibo, the Realme Q3 series is “coming soon”. A specific date has not been announced. These smartphones should be compatible with 5G. It’s worth noting that all of the Realme Q2 series smartphones – the vanilla Realme Q2, Realme Q2 Pro, and Realme Q2i – debuted in China last year with 5G support.
Realme Q2 was launched in India as Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G in India earlier this year. Weibo’s post also mentions that sales numbers for the Realme Q2 series have crossed the million mark, however, the company did not provide information on sales numbers by variant.
In another development related to Realme Q3, alleged specifications of the vanilla Realme Q3 smartphones surfaced in a report from MyDrivers. The report claims that the smartphone will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC, paired with UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR4X-2133 RAM.
The smartphone could come with a 120Hz display screen and hold a 4500mAh battery with support for 50W fast charging. As for the camera, the phone may have a rear camera setup. quad and connectivity features may include Bluetooth 5.2 as well as Wi-Fi 6.
