Nokia G50, a future smartphone from HMD Global, has been leaked in new renderings. The phone’s key specs were also leaked along with the price. The Nokia G50 has a circular shaped camera module on the back located at the top center of the back panel and is likely to have a fingerprint scanner mounted on the side. The phone is reportedly powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC and could feature a 6.38-inch LCD display with a teardrop-shaped notch.
German media company WinFuture has leaked official renderings of the Nokia G50 ahead of its supposed launch. The phone has a teardrop-shaped front display panel with thin side borders and a sizable chin at the bottom. The phone has a circular camera module that houses three rear cameras and a flash. The Nokia logo is also embossed on the back and on the chin of the screen. The volume and power buttons are located on the right spine with the fingerprint reader integrated inside the power button. The report states that the Nokia G50 may be available in Midnight Sun and Blue color options.
The housing of the Nokia G50 would be made of plastic and the phone would have a 6.38-inch (720 x 1560 pixel) HD + LCD display with a teardrop-shaped notch. It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G octa-core SoC and it would be priced somewhere at 230 EUR (around 19,800 Rs.).
The Nokia G50 was accidentally leaked by the Finnish company via Instagram. The post was deleted shortly after it was posted, but the screenshots managed to find their way online. The renderings leaked by WinFuture show the exact same design as the one leaked by the Instagram post. The post also confirmed that the phone will offer 5G connectivity as well as a 48-megapixel main sensor on its triple rear camera setup. Past leaks also suggest that the Nokia G50 may run on Android 11.
