The second wave of Corona virus has become uncontrollable in the country and in view of the wild increase of Corona in Delhi, the government has imposed several restrictions till 30 April. Under this, restaurants, theaters and metro will run only with 50 per cent capacity. Now to follow the social distancing, the Delhi Metro has temporarily closed the entry gate at many stations.

Delhi Metro has closed the entry gate at Saket, Qutub Minar, Kashmiri Gate, Shastri Park and Seelampur station to follow social distancing in platforms and trains. However, the exit gates of these stations are open and people can exit from here.

The Delhi Metro said that the entrances to these metro stations have been closed so that they can follow the rules of social distance by reducing congestion. Delhi Metros told that earlier the entry gates were also closed at New Delhi and Chandni Chowk metro stations, which have been opened after the crowd reduced.
