Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has taken a dig at the Maharashtra government through a Twitter message. Kangana, reacting to a news on Twitter, said that former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh has alleged that Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh asked Sachin Waje to collect Rs 100 crore every month.

Reacting to this news, Kangana Ranaut tweeted, ‘When I raised my voice against corruption and corrupt administration of Maharashtra government, I had to face abuses, threats, criticisms. I also responded to this. But, when my loyalty to my own beloved city was questioned, I cried silently. When they demolished my house illegally, many people cheered and celebrated.

BMC had demolished the office
Significantly, in September last year, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished parts of Kangana’s office in Bandra citing illegal construction. After the Bombay High Court’s stay order on 9 September, the demolition work was stopped midway.
