Amazon has contacted the MoHFW to identify ventilators with the correct technical specifications for use in Indian hospitals. The company has therefore chosen the model PB980 from Medtronic and will deliver 100 units in the next two weeks. The e-commerce giant also announced that it is partnering with the Temasek Foundation, ACT Grants and Pune Platform for Covid-19 Response, among others, to organize the airlift of 8,000 oxygen concentrating machines. and 500 two-stage positive pressure machines (BiPAP). from Singapore to India.
